2014 Jayco International Rally - Goshen, IN August 10 - 16

I know, I know it's early but we are pumped!!

Rob_Fla informed us of this and we have penciled it in...Rob already has his deposit in.

This will be our first Rally, not many out West, and we are really looking forward to all the things going on especially if we can take a factory tour. But most important is meeting other Jayco owners and from here in the forums.

We'll be traveling and this fits in perfect as we plan on going to Green Bay to visit family, friends and take in a Packers game at Lambeau Field in September.

Looks like you can send in a deposit now as there is a link for the event on the Jafari website.

Hope to see you there....

2014 Jayco International Rally - Goshen, IN August 10 - 16

Since many of us are scattered out across the country and do not belong to a "Local" Jayco Jafari Camping Club, we could get the Rally Organizers to group us together as the JOF Group!

Remember, you do not have to belong to the Jayco Jafari Club to attend the Jayco Rally.

It should be fun with so much to see and do in the area!

Just made our reservations for the rally next year in Goshen, Indiana. This will be our fourth international rally. We really enjoyed them. Attending rallies is a great way to renew old acquaintances and make new friends. We are going to try to attend a couple of adjoining states State rallies next summer if we can.

Finally got a little cool last night (Upper 30s) but we are warm and toasty, getting ready for Thanksgiving, Christmas and a wonderful New Year

It got a little cool here last night, also. 22° Monday night and 19° last night! Like I said, camping is over for this year.

I went to a Starcraft Rally in that area; I would guess when I was 10-14 years old. I do not remember much of other than we had a great time. I recall we had a large turnout from our local club show up. I would guess we had about 30-40 rigs in all. During that particular rally they had everyone park together by states. For us that meant all the Minnesotans where all together.

Our club decided to make a grand entrance, we camped about 10-20 miles away the night before rolling in. We purposely rolled in as one big convoy late in the afternoon. With everyone toting their horns, I recall someone had a large PA type speaker system mounted on top of one of the trucks blasting music, I believe the lead vehicle (5th wheel) had a couple big banners on it stating who we where and where we were coming from. When we rolled in not a sole was in the Minnesota section and most of the other sections were ¾ full. I recall it appeared everyone in the CG came out to see what was going on.

Someday when I have more time (vacation), we will have to go to a Jayco Rally!

Oh this sounds fun.... We wanted to go a few years ago to the forest river rally but didn't have enough time...... With having our second child on the way in February a long trip from western canada down there might be out of the question this year.......is there a website I can see all the details like cost?

Lets keep this tread alive and get a great JOF turnout at the Jayco International Rally this year.

We have never been to the "Middle of RV Manufacturing Country" looking forward to it.

Just 7 months away, it will be here before you know it.

If you get a chance, you need to tour the Jayco factory while you are in the area. I think you will be impressed with the way Jayco works. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the rally in Goshen.

This might be a fit for us this summer. We are thinking of taking a USA road trip in August. It would be fun to meet you all in person… Ok.. here is a Canadian question. Where is Indiana? East or West? Also are you talking about two different rally's here or is the Jaco Jaquari rally the same one. Thanks..

Goshen, Indiana, (International Rally site) is east of Chicago, IL, and then a little south - about an eight hour trip for us. I would be surprised if there are not factory tours organized as part of the rally. They did that in 2008? when the rally was in that location. Buses were provided from the rally to the factory.

We need a lot more units to sign up for this rally for it to be a success. Last I saw there were only 14 or 15 units so far. I know they are shooting for a hundred so still a long ways to go.

$30.00 for 2 years??? rates must have gone down since I was a member... Unless they are giving the usual shaft to Canadian members..

Rates did go down slightly, but they always had a multi-year discount, also they no longer publish and mail the club magazine everything is done on-line.

I am going to be further west in August. But I do plan on trying to tour the factory and go to the rv hall of fame around the end of June. Maybe next year...
