Jayco International Rally, Marion NC Aug 5-9, 2013

We are thinking about going to the Jayco International Rally in Marion, North Carolina, Aug 5-9, 2013?

Looks intresting, should be a lot of Jayco's there.

Anybody else thinking / planning on going?

We are planning on the rally. This will be our 4th rally and they have all been fun, interesting, and educational. We will definitely explore the area as neither of us have been there. Any suggestions for sight seeing would be appreciated.

We are also thinking about it. We went to the rally in Mackinaw City last year, and had such fun, we stayed an extra week so we could look around. We will wait until after the first of the year to say yes or no.

I tried to add the Rally to the calendar, it will not let me do anything in 2013, keep getting an error when trying to go to anything past Dec 2012

Just be aware you have to pay to join this club and then pay to go to the rally...

Correction. We have been to four Jayco International Rallys and have never been a member of the Jafari Club. You only have to pay the rally fees to attend the rally.

Weird! The date range doesn't include 2013 LOL. I'll have Admin Terry get that changed and then post the info for you.

Jayco International Rally in Marion, North Carolina, Aug 5-9, 2013

This is a 'Jayco Jafari' event and not sponsored by Jayco Owners Forum (JOF).

Correct, you do not have to join the Jafari Club to go to the Rally.

We did not join the Jafari Club, I looked at what the club offers, did not think you got much for the annual dues.

And this event is not sponsored or endorsed by the Jayco Owners Forum

Sailor, since we have never been to a Jayco International Rally, and you have been to four of them, can you give us your impression / feedback on their Rally?

The calendar was never extended because the world was going to end, but since that has not happened I went ahead and added a few more years to it. Enjoy

Jayco International Rally Update from the Jayco Travel Club

Jayco International Rally 2013 August 5 - 9 - Marion, North Carolina

Tom Johnson Camping Center - " Where Main Street Meets the Mountains"

We have a long ways to go to get that 100 or 150 units signed up as we only HAVE 46 signed up as of April 15th.

We need more numbers to work with, would like you to get signed up in the next 60 days so we can move forward with plans, Catered Dinner, Evening Entertainment

Our numbers need to go up or its going to be hard to get vendors to sign-up to attend our Rally

This will be our third rally. We had a good time at the other two that we attended. I think as of yesterday there are only 60 units signed up to attend this one. It would be much better if a lot more units were signed up. Last year's rally was attended by more than 100 units. No, you don't have to join the Jafari travel club to attend this rally, but the membership dues are only $25 per year. For that amount, you receive several newsletters each year, a listing of most of the rallies that are taking place, and some pretty good recipes (campers are pretty good cooks)!
