Sitting in Glacier right now. I fired up the generator to give is a few minutes of cool air after coming back from a 5 mile hike. The generator went into overload. Tried again, same thing. But then I happened to think that a capacitor may need to charge before being thrust into service. So I fired the generator back up, let it run for 5 to 10 minutes and gave it another try.
Success!! I ran it for about 15 minutes until generator hours ended.
Something good to keep in mind for anyone that has issues. Make sure you allow your capacitor time to "charge up" before accepting defeat.
