2016 Jayco updating existing lights

We are interested in updating our pendant and dining room lights in our 20I6 Jayco RSTS. The current pendants look like they forgot to install the shades. We have tried to get the shades off and just replace them with others but couldn't get them off. Decided to purchase new 12 volt pendants but the choices ar so limited - 3 or 4 different kinds! Does anyone know of any good sources where we can purchase 12 volt light fixtures?
We have also heard that you can use regular 110 volt light fixtures that can use 12 volt bulbs to "convert" them to 12 volt. We have our doubts about that but wondered if any of you may have any other ideas.

go to youtube and watch a channel called "rvproject" he just did that exact thing in his trailer. 120 volt fixtures with 12volt bulbs works.
