98 Jayco Heritage Pop Up needs seal replaced

We have a 98 Jayco Heritage Acadia Pop Up that needs the complete weather stripping seal replaced (the one that comes down with the top and seals it to the main box). The dealer wants $800 to replace it.

Is it worth trying to do it ourselves and any ideas where I can buy the seal?

$800! I don't personally know where you can get the seal, but I would be looking at any alternatives I could. I can't recall anything special about those seals when I had pop-up campers. There are lots of different types of seals available at home improvement stores. You might find something that will work.
