A/C leaking water inside

Just wanted to share what I found the other day while using my A/C. The condensate water from the evap coil was leaking or draining into the camper and not on the roof like it should. I figured it had to be a clogged drain line or hole. This is what I found. After removal of plastic shroud and part of metal housing I was able to gain access to clean the drain holes. See attached photos. Hopefully this helps some others...

Thanks for posting. So what is that in pic one your pointing to? And we see it removed in pic four correct? And what is pic three of? Sorry for the questions. It's definitely good you found your issue. I read a thread awhile back where someone's ac was dripping inside but didn't see the fix (unless that was you lol).

Picture 1&4 shows where the drain holes are at one on each side of the drain pan under the evap coil.

picture 2 shows how far apart I had to take the A/C apart to gain access the drain holes.

Picture 3 shows what I found that was clogging the hole.

I seen that same posting too with no fix this is part of the reason why I posted this posting.

I cleaned ours the other day but did not take that much apart. Got a piece of wire about the size of a toothpick, then laid down on one side of the air and found the grommet and bent the wire with a 90 degree and stuck it up into the hole where the water is supposed to come out. Did one side and then went over to the other side and did the same thing. Maybe this will work for you.

Next time I will probably do the wire trick being now I know where the drain holes are. Also I will be cleaning it spring and fall when I do my roof maintenance.
