A/C Problem

I have a 2008 Jay Flight G2. I have been on a NG mobilization and just got it out after a year and the A/C doesn't come on when the trailer is powered up. I checked the main breaker panel and everything seems to be OK. The A/C worked great last time we had it out. Any ideas what the problem might be? I'm trying to get it to the lake for the 4th.

Presuming this is a roof mounted, non-ducted, dial type thermostat on the A/C unit itself.

1. Confirm you have power up to the A/C unit itself.
2. Turn switch on and confirm you have power coming out of the switch to the A/C compressor and fan.
3. No power at the switch then the problem is from the main panel to the switch.
4. No power out of the switch-bad switch.

your AC may have a start delay of 2-3 minutes.

Usually the delay is active when the compressor is stopped either due to you or a power loss and then is asked to restart. There is a timer relay that prevents a restart until the timer times out. This is to allow the refrigeration system pressure to dissipate. Generally on a "cold start" the compressor will/should start immediately.
