A/C question

I was prepping my trailer for a trip this weekend. I had the rooftop A/C running for about an hour and all was fine. I shut down for a few minutes and when I tried turning it back on "nothing". No breakers are tripped and everything else seems to have power. Any thoughts or suggestions before I take it back to the dealer. I just bought it so all is still under warranty. I'm just hoping its something simple that I can check before hand because I'd rather not have to take it back this close to our first trip.

Check to see if you have 120 volts to the A/C unit. Also check for any loose connections. See if you can download the service manual for the A/C as that would have the electric print in it

There is a relay in the system that keeps the AC from restarting too soon. 5 minutes or so and it will restart. Designed to let the compressor unload before it restarts.

What he said. It allows the ac to equalize head pressure. It should reset itself in a few minutes.

Okay so this was my own boneheaded brain fart. In my haste, I completely forgot that I had disconnected the trailer from shore power. I was closing everything up and walked into the garage to see the power cord was unplugged and lying on the floor where I had left it. Uh...DUH! I walked back and forth past the garage at least 10 times and never once thought to check the power cord. I am happy to say that everything but my brain works just fine. Thanks anyway for all of the quick replies!

Perhaps this could be moved over to the boneheaded moments thread?

Maybe the Jersey Devil unplugged the cord. (Ex NJ and pine barren resident)
