A question and quandary about bearings

I'm in the market for some bearings for my "spares" box. I'm "old school" and grew up thinking Timken was the best there was.
The problem is the inner/outer bearings I need are 25580/14125A, and Amazon says "made in China" and I can't find any other source telling me otherwise. Some QnA from 2-ish years ago indicates US made. I don't find any country of origin info on the Timken web site.
Tell me it ain't so!

Here you go - hopefully this is what you are looking for:

25580 Timken Roller Bearing - Drivetrain America
14125A Timken Roller Bearing - Drivetrain America

I keep a complete set of Timken's on hand. Never hurts to be prepared, especially when running with a single-axle.

EDIT: I should add that the sets that I recently got were packaged as "Drive Train Components (Marketed by The Timken Corporation)". When I inspected them they had "Timken" and "USA" stamped on them. The box also lists "www.dtcomponents.com" as their web site. Looks like a partnership between Timken and North Coast Bearing.

Remember when Japan got caught printing "Made in USA" on their products produced in Usa Japan. Caught on a slight technicality. Probably not... as that was in the 60's.

Thanks for the links, I've looked them over and note that they don't specify country of origin. I may order from Drive Train and see what I get. Hopefully the "good" stuff.

Don
I hadn't heard about that, but I think in this age of global trade what constitutes "Made in the USA" if often not as simple and straightforward as it should be.

I did notice the following statement at the bottom of the main DT Components web page:

"Our mission is to provide the best value in differential and transmission kits and components. Best value means Timken® tapered roller bearings, the best order fill, the fastest in-house turn-around time, US manufacturers’ product where available, superior quality and personalized service."
