Alternative remote for Furrion.

Has anyone come up with a good alternative for the Furrion supplied remotes?
The TV one has a range of about 5 feet which is terrible. I can't even control the TV while sitting at the dinette which is about 8/10 feet from the TV in my rig.
The remote for the DV3200 is just terrible. Hard to see tiny buttons.

I read on here a while back that some folks were having trouble finding the Furrion codes for universal remotes. I was just wondering if anyone found a good solution for an alternative remote.

jloco, I have a DV3200 also. It quit playing DVD's CD's & the USB port doesn't work either. Furrion is sending me a new unit. Agree, the DV3200 remote is beyond stupid in it's design.

I hate to say it but the best solution is a new Samsung or other quality brand TV and stereo unit.

I put in my own TV (Samsung) and will probably replace the stereo with either a car stereo and something easier to use down the road.

One of the worst designed stereos I have ever seen, especially the remote.

I was able to program my Logitech Harmony remote to control my Direct TV receiver, Vizio TV and Furrion DV3200. Only the basic Furrion remote functions are programmed - on/off, DVD, volume, etc, but I can manage all my AV with with one remote.

I like the TV.. It has a decent picture. I won't replace it until it craps out.

I'm on my second DV3200. Like yours, the DVD/CD's stopped working. So far the replacement is working ok.

I wish someone made a quality all in one AV system for RV's.
