Attaching solar panels

Renogy recommends this product to attach solar panels to RV roofs. I used them and they work great however, I was a little concerned about drilling all those 3/8" holes in the roof. I had to purchase the stainless steel machine screws, washers and lock washers separately. By nature, these things are somewhat self-sealing but I used Dicor for added protection.

I used six 8" pieces of ½" aluminum Unistrut -one for each foot on the panel. I put done a 12"x4" piece of Dicor tape under each, then centered the channel, and attached each with three stainless screws. The underside of each Unistrut was coated in Dicor, as was the secured screw head.
