Awning LED issues - Possible converter problem?

I am hoping someone can shed a little light on my issues since the dealer doesn't seem capable. I have a 2016 Jayco Octane 32C. My awning lights work just fine on battery power. However, when I plug into shore power or start the generator after about 30 seconds the awning lights go dim. The awning lights have been replaced and this did not resolve the issue. The inside lights do not seem to be affected, only the awning lights. Also of note and possibly related, inside there is a very high pitched electrical type sound that occurs within the first few minutes of connecting to shore power. This sound lasts anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes and then goes away. Because it is so high pitched it is impossible to tell where it is coming from but I assume it is coming the converter. My dealer is not much help at all so I hope someone here has had a similar experience and has a solution. Thanks in advance.

This does sound odd...
Do you have a remote? Does the same thing happen using the remote vs the wall panel?
Just trying to find a starting point...

No remote. Just a basic LED light strip built in with a wall switch in my main control panel

The high pitched squeal is most definitely from the converter and is a fairly common problem especially if it goes away under a load. Been reported by a few people on this board and others. Not sure about the awning light issue...

LED's are powered by a "Driver" sounds like yours is bad. The driver isn't part of the LED strip, it's in the coach some where. They replace the LED strip but probably not the driver that's why you have the same problem.
