I don't have a misting system but what we do use is a fan so powerful it will knock your socks off. LOL I love that thing. Big ole stainless steel job. I like your fan misting option tho, does look easier.

I doubt I'd buy the mister in the OP, but it is interesting. I think I'd probably not want to worry with setting it up. When it is REALLY hot we tend to hang at the beach anyway and set up under the awning when sun goes down.

We have a misting fan at the fire dept, but it sits on top of a large igloo cooler filled with ice water and operates similar to your box fan. Would not be too hard to rig up and would sure feel good!

Speaking of fire (well really smoke!) - I think Crabman has been partaking....

Crabman, you can get by with just one bucket. The one with the nice top er lid would suffice. Just remember to rinse well after using.

That would have been alcohol abuse!

I can build something along those lines with parts from Home Depot at less than half the asking price.

I know it's an old subject, but I was wondering if anyone has picked up this mister system that fits into the track of the awning? Saw at my local RV dealership and wondering if I should have purchased for $24.95...Has anyone purchased this setup?
