Axel grease seals

I have an 02 Jayco Kiwi Too 30T. I just got it and I am going to pack the bearing so I know they are in good shape. My question is.....How do I know what or where to get the new seal without taking it apart? My local camping world said I would just have to bring them the seal.

Axel grease seals

Auto parts should have them. Most of the time they match them up with the numbers off the old one. If you know the axle manufacture some times the trailer repair shops can get em without seeing them but they still can be wrong. Best thing is to pull a hub and get the numbers off and try to find them. Besure you you have the right ones before messing up the ones in there now.

got to pull the drum/hub and see if you can find the stamped number on the seal. If not, you have the hub in you hand just take it to the local auto parts store or camper parts place to match it up.

Get one of these if you don't already have one. "Lisle 34550 Handy Packer Bearing Packer".

Useful tip: follow directions but to make it easy with old grease just put it on the floor and step on it to squeeze old grease out of the bearing.
