Bad TV Port

Plugged my coax into the outside connector but all I got was a fuzzy picture. Jiggled the connection at the TV and the pic would come and go. Regular TV was fine. I ran cable to another TV and it worked fine.

Question: TT is 2 weeks old. Do I take the TV to the RV dealer or do I have to work through the TV manufacturer?

Take it back to the dealer if the tv came with the trailer.

No, I didn't turn it off.

First time out and didn't know that had to be done. Where is it located and how do you turn it off?

That's your issue for sure. There should be a wall plate with the 12V outlet near or close to your TV. Some are hidden in the cabinets in and around the stereo units. There should be a little black button that once you depress will turn off the green light on the plate. Picture should clear right up after doing so.

Thanks all. Checked it tonight and found it "buried in the cabinet below the TV. It was the furthest outlet back.

Jayco and all other manufacturers should take a lesson and read these answers. They are way ahead of the drivel written in the owner manuals.
