Bar Trouble

Looking for advice. I picked up a used Reese Dual-Cam hitch yesterday. Shank and ball are rated at 12000# and so are the cams but the bars say 17000# on them. Is there a risk or downside of running with heavier bars than what the other components are rated at?

BTW, I have no intention of towing anything more than 10k# ever. In fact, my current trailer has a GVWR of 6k#. I just want to get rid of the friction sway bar and be able to upgrade in the future to a heavier trailer.

Thanks
