Battery Box w/ test light - external hook-up.....thoughts?

Two exposed terminals posts with heavy duty 7 gauge cables – Use or charge your battery without opening your Marine Smart Box. Easy access for all your accessories.
Battery status LED indicator – Indicates the battery voltage and if you need to recharge the battery.
~ Battery Voltage more than 12.8 volts – Green LED

~ Battery Voltage between 12 and 12.8 volts – Yellow LED

~ Battery Voltage less than 12 volts – Red LED

~ The battery is charging and is fully charged – Green LED

Two external 12 volt DC auxiliary outputs for accessories – Separately protected by an internal automatically resettable 15 amp thermal circuit breaker.
Tough heavy duty rigid polypropylene case construction
Hold-down strap to secure the battery and the box to the boat
One size fits both Group 24 and 27 batteries

I like the concept - for me, a gauge rather than the LED would be more useful. I mean at 12.7 you are full and green, then you get orange which means the battery has been used. The problem here is that by red, you are done. When you go below 12V you are hurting the batteries but you had no warning on how close you were....
