#@!*% birds!
So, recent conversation with a fellow 5er learned me about nests in the pin box. I'm a busy little beaver making a block-off cover to keep 'em out. And what's going on overhead? The little buggers are building nests in my slide covers. Cleaned 'em out Sat afternoon and went to the storage today (Mon) and one has started his rebuild project. GRRRRR!
How do the pros keep them at bay?

Put a couple rubber snakes on the roof near the slides and move them occasionally.

I have them start this every spring and there has been only one way for me to stop them. As long as I leave the slides out there is too big a space for them to feel safe and they don't build. However, if the slides are in, for about 3 to 4 weeks, they will build with in a couple of hours.
Maybe you need to put plastic bags over the openings until they stop building.
Good luck with your tasks on keeping them out.

+1, this works for us at the homestead. Got them from the $1 toy bins at Wally World.

Good input folks. Was talking with my neighbor this afternoon and jokingly said I'd even try rubber snakes.
A new mission!

Rubber snakes and whirligigs it is. We'll see how they work.
