Black tank handle sticks out on 26BH

Hello,

My black tank handle sticks out quite a bit past the edge of the trailer body (see pictures). Some have said this is normal, some have said it's not correct. The handle itself works fine.

Thanks for any advice.

It's just a threaded rod, can you not get a shorter rod to pull the handle back in a bit?

My black handle also sticks out further than the grey, but yours appears to be a bit more.

My grey tank pull handle sticks out a couple inches or more while the black tank handle cannot be seen without kneeling down and looking up under my GH 31ss

I don't see how this is a problem. If you are close enough to snag that handle on something while driving there will be bigger issues. I wouldn't worry about this. Camp on and enjoy your trailer!

Mine has a lock nut on the threaded rod portion, and if I neglect to check it once in awhile, it will loosen up, and the rod will slowly back out of the tube it's threaded in - and stick out the side farther as a result. I keep forgetting to lock-tite the nut. Anyways, if yours has the nut, you can thread the handle back into the tube then lock the nut.
