Brake Controller Qwest...

So, we have a 2010 Greyhawk 31FK... We are going to be putting a brake controller in... The controller I am looking at is the OEM Ford Brake Controller OEM part # 9C34-2C006-AA. I understand that it is pre-wired for this in the dash...

Has anyone else used the Ford OEM brake controller? this same brake controller? Or should I be considering one of the others? If so, which one should I look into? What's your experience?

Also, I am installing a set of FireStone Model 2458 airbags on the rear axles... Anyone with experience using these? I am doing this to aid in hauling my trailer which will be carrying my Jeep CJ7.

Any thoughts, experiences, expert advice, etc. would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Randy

I have the factory installed 2008 Ford brake controller. I like it a lot. Digital, very easy to set and doesn't lock up the trailer wheels like the Voyager XP control that I have in my 2002 Ford PU.

On the ranch I normally tow a gooseneck stock trailer and bumper pull dump trailer and now have been pulling my RV TT.

My Ford controller does not have the aux switches. I assume they are for when you are pulling different trailers or tandem trailers. The aux switches would be great for tandem trailers but not sure you would need it for towing different trailers because the digital controller is so easy to set up.

It is my understanding that the Ford controller is the best available.

Thank you all for your input. I will be ordering the Ford brake controller and will post up the results.
