Campgroung cable tv

I get a fuzzy picture using the Jayco cable connection.
When I hook the campground cable directly to the TV I get a great picture
Anyone have this condition??

Is your antenna power amplifier on? If so that would cause a fuzzy picture.

Hey Safari - welcome to the Jayco forum. If you get a chance, come on over to the new member forum and introduce yourself.

As JBHSV04 said - check your amp switch - it is usually located behind your main TV and looks like a cigarette lighter plug. There should be a red light and a black switch - just turn it off.

Yes I tried that......also the batwing antenna on the roof gets a great picture
It must be the cable from the outside connection but I don't know how that cable gets to the TV outlet.....Does the rooftop and the Campground cable appear at the same jack

odd...generally - there are three connectors on that amp plate ---

- one from the antenna
- one from the external connector
- one to the bedroom connector

When you turn the amp off, it should take a signal from the outside external connector and pipe it through the trailer. If you have not used the external connector much - it might have some corrosion or rust in the connector. Try taking a small piece of wire and work it in and out of the external connector and clean it off a bit.
