Canvas ends

We have the x17z JayFeather which we have absolutely loved on our first two outings so far this year in NE Indiana. We graduated from tent camping so have never had any TT with canvas to deal with. Can those of you that are experienced with canvas tell me if you have had any issues when it rains while sleeping or just camping with the ends out during a good rainy day?

We had a popup and a hybrid (neither were Jaycos) before our TT and never had any problems with the canvas tent ends. We did use space blankets on both to help keep them clean and help insulate them a little. I also made Reflectix inserts for the window areas which helped keeping the heat/cool in.
Here's a link to a pic.

Our first camper was a tent trailer. It took forever to set it up and take it down. New ones are much nicer.
