Converter question

Hi there,
Does anyone know what type of converter Jayco is using in their 2013 X23B? Just wondering if it is a 3 stage or not.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

My 2013 23b came with a Progressive Dynamics PD4000 Series Power Control Center. No idea if it is 3 stage. Might want to look at www.progressivedyn.com

Just for your information, it looks to be a 3 stage smart charger with charge wizard! :hihi:

If it's the PD4045 it does have the 3 stage smart charger

My understanding was that Jayco started changing over to the Progressive Dynamics converter/chargers in 2010 and that they were a 3-stage product. Prior to the Progressive products Jayco used the IOTA converter/chargers (2-stage).

As mentioned, best to check the actual model number of the unit in your trailer against the manufacturer's web site.

My Jayco 28.5RLS came with a PD4045. While it is a 3 stage charger, it does not allow you to manually select a charging mode which is a drawback when boon docking and you have a limited amount of time or gasoline to recharge your battery. If your battery is only partially discharged, the PD4045 will likely choose to recharge at 13.6 volts but you might prefer to recharge at 14.4 volts to quickly recharge your battery.
