Dicor roof restoration kit

I posted in another forum and so far have not gotten a response.
Has anyone used the Dicor roof restoration package?

Just curious as to how well it works. Our trailer sat neglected for about 6 years
before we bought it and the roof looks like it needs some rejuvenation.

I saw your first post but did not respond because I have not used the product you are looking at. But I have had great luck with blue dawn dish soap and a medium bristle long handle scrub brush. If the roof has been neglected for awhile I would just scrub it with dawn then check all the self leveling sealant "add where needed" then use camco brand roof conditioner "can be bought at most Wal-mart stores". Hope this helps

Our 5er is 8 years old now- I am in the process of cleaning the roof and applying a liquid rubber product to save the existing rubber roof for a few more years of use- Cleaned the roof with Blue Dawn, applied lap sealant where needed and am now "painting" the roof with $35 a gallon product from a rv dealer- It will take at least 3 gallons to fully cover the roof and the slide-outs with 2 coats- JMHO- DD

Thanks for the tips folks. I cleaned it with the Dicor cleaner last week. That's when i noticed that a lot of the white was going away. Looks like the reconditioner might be the way to go and since it is such a small roof (17' Kiwi), I might be able to do it with just 1 gallon. Right after we bought it last May, i had to re-seal both ends where the roof meets the caps (used 5 tubes of the self-leveling sealer). Fortunately there was minimal water damage.

Friends used it a couple of years ago with good luck.. BUT it is lots of work.. you have to really clean off the old roof of mold and dirt..
