Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Mama Mize. What tt do you have? What type of awning (manual/eletric adjustable/electric flat pitch? What length awning? Is this a used tt or new? Congrats on your first tt! Hope the awning turns out to be the only challenge for you

Also, are you in a Campground with other rv owners? While waiting for members to help you out here, try asking anyone that has your type of awning if they can help you out. RV'ers are about the friendliest a most helpful group of people

Agreed. If stuck in a situation, simply whistle over to someone who can help. At my seasonal CG site, some folks are bored. Some guys are "bored silly" - because they aren't used to relaxing so long. Simply whistle for help and lots of folks will come running over - to help. Works for me....

Heck if you want to get a group of guy together you dont have to whistle.. just open the hood to you tow vehicle (or MH) and 10 guys will be there in less than 2 min.... works every time
