flat screen TV mount in 2015 267bhsw

My trailer came without a tv mount or sticker. I'm posting these pictures with hopes of saving someone else some trouble. The wall is mostly hollow and studs are off center. However if you have a mount that is high enough there seems to be a plywood backer close to the top. I tried a stud finder with mixed results. The best way to locate the studs is to press hard on the wall. The covering is 1/4 inch plywood so without to much difficulty you can feel the studs (I learned this after trying a stud finder.) In the pictures you can see some extra screws, the top edge all hit solid wood. Sorry about sideways pictures I didn't take them that way

With just two screws in that bracket I would be very worried about the mount pulling loose while traveling. You might want to consider the MOR/ryde TV1006H Double Arm Swivel TV Wall Mount. It is extremely heavy duty with pre-drilled holes for 6 lag screws and has a locking pin for traveling.

The the two "screws" are actually carriage bolts, if that helps

Yes, that does help a lot. Just keep in mind that the mount & TV gets a lot of pressure on it from constant vibration and hard bumps. I'd hate for you to find your TV on the floor after a trip.

I originally installed a MOR/ryde TV1025H bracket (see Amazon) but replaced it after seeing how much the TV had shifted out of alignment during each trip. Granted the TV1006H is an overkill but it is very stable when locked into place. (And naturally, a solid mounting surface is a must.)

I am getting ready to hang a tv on the other side of our 2015 267BHSW, and I have a couple of questions...

When you say you used a carriage bolt, does that mean you went all the way through the wall? And can you share what size carriage bolt you used? (I obviously know nothing about nails/screws/bolts, etc, and hubs is not here.)

Also, I'm hanging a little 19" on the bedroom side first- would you use the same installation you did on yours (is that a 32" tv)? What size is the piece of wood you screwed in to mount the tv to?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just upgraded to a 267BHSW. My first directive from the mrs was to mount a tv. Thought I would share my install with you too.
I chose a 28" tv because the opening is only 32" wide. I chose a bracket that was easy to take the tv down while we travelled. It is just a flat mount with some tilt but no swivel. I had a tv mount sticker on the bedroom side of the wall and it made it easy to find the support on the other side. You can definitely feel where the support is. When I predrilled the holes I hit wood support all the way. The tv only weighs 25lbs so I didn't use heavy duty bolts just the same screws as I would to hang it on my wall in the house. The tv takes 10 secs to take down and put back up, I just pull the tabs on the bottom, tilt out and lift up. It's light weight makes this really easy. We plan on placing it on the bed while travelling.

I ended up putting a 19" TV on the bedroom side. I used a simple mount with 2 #14. 1 1/2" screws. Both screws went through the stud, and the tv only weighs 3lbs, so I'll let you know how it does after our trip this week. :-)

We'll hang a 28" TV with an articulating arm on the other side, but I'm trying to decide whether I really want to spend as much on the bracket (heavy-duty one) as I do on the tv....
