Front Decal. 2014 whitehawk

So the snow has melted enough to get to the trailer and once again the decals on the front are peeling off. Had them replaced last spring under warranty, but of course the 2 year warranty was up in the beginning of April. Thinking about just removing them and not replacing as the front cap has not started to fade yet so the shadow may not show. Any good methods to remove and clean up the glue

Hot day in the sun with a plastic wall paper scraper is how I removed them from my previous trailer. There are some adhesive removers too.

Thanks. Has anyone just left the decals off. Not sure how it will look, but I don't really want to put new ones one to have them start to peel off again next spring

I removed mine on a Melbourne the first week I got it starting with a heat gun and fingernail. Ended up just peeling it off with no heat and very little to no residue. I found the heat let the vinyl stretch and tear instead of coming off in big pieces. I just removed the stripe on the chassis hood and the Jayco and the bird on the rear.

Our decals are fine, but I did see an older Eagle 5er with no decals at a CG the other day. The rig was white, and IMO didn't look to bad, but would have looked a lot better with a good cleaning and coat of wax.

My Eagle decal on the front cap has really faded due to my years spent in Yuma so instead of trading in my Eagle for a newer model I have decided to spruce it up and my decals will be replaced. It is in the shop now to have a few exterior problems spruced up.

Albertaguy. What is the cost of the replacement decal. Maybe I should let these ones peel off for another year and then replace them myself

I don't know what the cost will be. I use a RV repair shop here in Calgary who have always treated me right and they think they may have some of the decals in stock or a reasonable replacement so I will let them do it. I am having other work done and my income tax return will help pay for my work.

My income tax return goes to my daughters education fund. I will check with the dealer and see what the cost for replacements are.

Since they were replaced under warrarntee and lasted less than a year, I think you should have a good case to suggest that the reinstall was faulty and the dealer likely did not properly prep the front cap.

I have thought about that. Maybe when I get home on Saturday I will go and visit them and see what they have to say. The way I see it the decal is a free travelling advertising board for Jayco wether it be good or bad based in the image

Got the cost yesterday, $220.00 installed, that includes removing the old Eagle decal and the small Jayco decal on the top drivers side.

We just talked to our dealer last week about decal issue...bought unit new this year and decals already starting to bubble bad. They said Jayco is one of the few that warranties them. Apparently, according to dealer, Jayco outsources the decals and it has been a major problem the last few years. It has to do with the adhesive the decal company has been using and not necessarily an install flaw. Our dealer said it had become such a common warranty item that Jayco doesn't even require them to go through the warranty process anymore but just told the dealer to replace them under warranty and bill Jayco.
