Front work lights: Constant on

Just noticed something when I came home this evening: The LED work lights on the front of my trailer (that shine on the jack area for night-time hook-up/disconnecting from the TV) are on. I flipped the toggle on the front of the trailer and they came on brighter; flipped it back to off position and they went to a dimmer light, but are still on. I disconnected the negative wire from the battery, but those lights staid on. Checked my command center and the lights show the battery has a full charge. I did check the water level in the battery, yesterday and all the cells were full. FYI: They've never been on while driving or when set up at campsite before, and none of the trailer running lights are on. My plug-in EMS is reading 124V/0.0A with no load except the refer - which doesn't make sense to me, since the refer is running on elect.

Anybody got an idea about what's going on?

I think something has gone haywire in the fixture. Can you check it out with an ohm meter? I would remove the fixture or at least disconnect the wires until you get it figured out.

I have a small volt/ohm meter, but have no idea how to use it. Can you give me a tutorial?

I would bet the switch has failed and is letting some power through even when in the off position.
