Frozen pipes

Very cold here in northeast Oregon this morning (-8 degrees F) and the supply to my toilet froze. All other faucets have been left running, but I didn't block the lever to keep the toilet water running, therefore… The problem now is trying to do what little I can to thaw the critical spot. I need a schematic of the supply pipes to know where to focus my efforts. The perimeter of the trailer is filled with straw bales and the belly of this trailer is sealed and insulated. Anyone have a suggestion?

Welcome to the forum. It would be helpful to know what type and model you have in case any members might have that same unit. For a schematic you would need to contact Jayco with your VIN. That being said I would fire up the furnace and possibly place an electric space heater in the bathroom to possibly thaw out the line. Many of these trailers have the fresh water plumbing almost entirely inside the trailer, so it may thaw rather easily.

If you are skirted with straw you could place an electric heater under the trailer under the bathroom area. Probably not a good idea with straw bales tho. I would do as Crabman says and turn up the temp.

I am not a big fan of the electric heaters under the TT. However, we have used light bulbs in many scenarios very successfully, to keep things warm. A 100 Watt incandescent bulb is a 99.7 % heat. As Crabman stated what year and model do you have, that will really help.
