Furrion Issues

Got my first travel trailer. A 2016 Jayco 27BHS which came with a Furrion DV3200 entertainment center. Worked fine at my base camp. On my first camping trip, at the campground all hooked up with electricity and water, now it sits there lit up on an FM station and none of the buttons work. Can't even turn it off. Only the volume knob seems to work. Turn the volume and it takes 2 to 3 seconds to hear a beep and volume goes up one number, turn the knob and again 2 to 3 seconds for another volume number. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dave

Reboot it.

There should be a pinhole on the face that an unfolded paper clip will press the button behind the hole.

Wait at least 10 minutes for the software to settle back into place.

Thanks

Thanks, will give it a try. I also disconnected the battery and 120 power for about 30 seconds to see if that would work. The Furrion then showed the time and was able to turn it on, then nothing would work. I will give your suggestion a try and will let you know if that works.

Thanks,

Dave

30 seconds is not nearly enough powered down time for modern electronics. 5 minutes at a minimum for them to fully discharge their internal capacitors and memory chips to clear.

Took your advice and disconnected everything from the trailer while I went sight seeing for 4 hours. Came back and powered it all up. No dice. Still will turn on and nothing works. Looks like it's going back to the dealer when I get back home. Thanks in advance.
