FYI: How warm are your batteries (Black Battery Cases)

The other day I was checking the temperature of my 2 battery boxes on the front of the TT. The temperature of the battery box covers (at 3PM) was 169 degrees. So, how does extreme temperatures affect battery life? I decided to present the question to Trojan support. I enclosed the Trojan Response below. I had an old battery box cover so I painted it white and the temperature of the painted box was 98 degrees. Now the issue is having white battery boxes in front of a dark brown front cap on the Eagle will make for an unhappy other half.
