fyrechampion grill rv conversion

Has anyone seen or used a Coleman fyrechampion grill and converted it to be used with the quick disconnect system on our jaycos? I know Colemans are not normally set up to do this and I have read a sticky on the conversions but I wanted to know if anyone had done this

To the mods: was not sure if this fit here or in the mods forum. I apologize if if it needed to be there

I tried to find some info but wasn't doing well until I hit Google Images. It looks like the propane bottle mounts off to the side on a long thin pipe. If you can remove the regulator (which appears to be mounted to where the bottle mounts), you can probably find some parts to make up a connection to your RV. I'd never heard of that grill before but it sounds like a pretty cool little thing. Good luck.

the brass fitting unscrews from the regulator. We have the Coleman Road Mate ELX. we bought the quick connect fitting from Camping World about$15. We spent 3 hours at Lowes with this valve and the Coleman valve fitting together 4/5 different brass fittings with a gas grill hose. 42$ later, it all fit together and we went home and used gas tread sealer. We like our and glad we got it to work
