Get the terminology right.....

1. It is a CO detector........not a CO2 detector.
CO is carbon monoxide. It odorless and can kill you.
CO2 is carbon dioxide. You exhale this when you breathe.

2. A surge protector is not an EMS (Electrical Management System). An EMS has surge protection.
Surge protector only suppresses voltage spikes (1000V+) of very short duration (microseconds). It does not protect you for low (<104) or high (>132) voltage.

3. A converter makes 12VDC from 120VAC, and provides voltage to keep the batteries properly charged.
An inverter makes 120VAC from 12VDC.

EDUCATION is what you get when you read the fine print.....
EXPERIENCE is what you get when you don't.
