Hot water heater 12V sw.

I am sorting out several issues with the 2003 Jayco Grayhawk 26SS and thanks to this forum I am gaining ground. Today I worked on lack of water pressure using the pump and thanks to several suggestions found that all the airators were plugged, and after removing, and pounding on the pump it finally started pumping water. It still shuts off too fast and the pressure drops next to 0 before starting making shower taking a challenge. The next item was the hot water heater. The manual that you download is absolutely useless and I thought the switch in the control panel would start the gas fired hot water system. Actually after tearing everyting apart I found that it was a dualunit with an electric element and that switch only started the element. I still haven't found the 12 v switch to power the gas fired unit. Any one know where I should look. I have been everywhere and can find no 12 V switch to turn on the gas water heater. Again thanks for those that responded. It was very helpful. Tom

In my Skylark there is a switch right next to the thermostat that I can select electric or gas heat for the water tank. It looks like a light switch, but is red and lights up when the water heater is turned on. The same switch box has switches for the water pump.
