Question Hw heating element - where is it?

Our Eagle has a 10 gallon Atwood water heater. It calls for the 1500 watt screw-in type heating element. I've looked at the manual online, searched the net and asked around. No one has been able to tell me whether it's accessed from outside the trailer or inside. It takes a long socket, so I'm guessing it is on the inside, but knowing where to look, that would help a lot. Thanks.

My 6 gal Atwood WH element is on the backside, inside the RV. The element, relay, and wiring is inside a small black plastic box mounted to the rear of the heater. Not sure if the 10 gal is the same. Maybe check around where your bypass valves are, that should be the backside of the heater.

Boy, if it's inside like yours, it's going to take someone a lot smaller than me to get to it.
