Jayco Bauer replacement keys

I saw this on "the other forum", a site where you can order Bauer replacement keys for your RV. You must have the key number. Since I lost one I ordered two today, 2.50 each plus shipping, but they do not tell you how much shipping is. You get an invoice with the keys when they arrive but not when you check out. That was a bit different then most e-tailers. They have regular snail mail as well as overnight UPS for emergencies.

A local locksmith was able to copy the keys for me. But he didn't know where/how to get exact replacements. Thanks for the link.

I ordered several spares from them. At the end I think shipping was $2 or 3 or so.

McMaster-Carr is another e-tailer that won't tell you how much shipping is until some time after you place the order.

I assume these are the keys for the doors (with the black plastic "base")? I never understood why my main, bathroom, and rear storage doors all have separate keys. I hate carrying around a huge key chain, and 3 keys for a camper just seems ridiculous.

I'm just deciding if I hate it enough to pay a locksmith to key them all the same. Anyone know if this can even be done?

Yep. These are the door keys, not the imfamous 751 storage door keys that everyone has.

Thanks for the link, Crabman. I've had the other keys copied right at Lowes with no problem but I haven't tried the door keys. I suspect those will be special.

I received the keys in the mail today. They are just like the original with the black plastic handle. Two keys were $7.42 with tax and shipping. Took a little over a week to get them.
I tried them, they work, I`m satisfied!
