Lippert clear code?

Alright, I have used this self leveling Lippert 3.0 at least 15 times since I got the trailer. I have been very happy with it.....so far. Yesterday we got back home and parked in the normal spot and began the self level. I got the error-LF. Then it advises to retract all the jacks. Did that. Checked all the connectors for the left front jack but the error won't clear. Manual mode still works. Is there a way to "reset" or clear the error?

I think some mentioned unplugging the power cord to the controller will do it.

I've had this happen also. You can actually download the Lippert App onto a smartphone. It contains owners manuals for their products including the 3.0.

I don't remember the reset process myself.

Good luck!

Tried this. only pulled it out then reconnected. Maybe I didn't leave it disconnected long enough. Thank you. I will try again

From the Ground Control 3.0 Manual:
1. Correct or otherwise repair the issue
2. Extend all of the jacks at least six (6) inches, then press and hold the "RETRACT" button on the touch pad until the jacks begin retracting
3. All of the jacks will retract fully to clear the error

I found the manual on-line and now have it accessible on my iPhone/iPad just in case...

Thanks. I did download the app "myLCI". Read through it and only remember it saying raise the jacks 6 inches then retract. Didn't wok. Then again I was a bit frustrated and cursing "all technology of the world" at the time and may have missed it. yes I realize the irony that I am using an iPad right now I was hoping someone remembered a simple 'push this then that' sequence.

I believe after everything is retracted, you need to bring the nose up so its above the level point. Then hit "Auto Level" and it should be good to go from there.

Nothing was working so I emailed Lippert and they responded back to me pretty dog gone quickly. Looks like we all had a piece of the process. I have pasted in the relevant part of the email I received down below should you need it. It worked the first time for me. It was cool watching this rig go through the 're-home' procedure.

Ensure that you have 4-5 drop pin holes exposed on the front jacks. You will not be able to successfully perform this procedure if you have more holes showing.

***Before performing this procedure ensure that there is nothing that the coach will come in contact with.

With the error on the screen press and hold the FRONT arrow and extend the front jacks an additional 6-8 inches. Then press and hold the REAR arrow and extend the rears 6-8 inches. If you have a 6 jack leveling system to extend the middles you have to press and hold the RIGHT and LEFT arrows at the SAME TIME to extend the middle jacks 6-8 inches.

Once ALL the jacks have been extended a 6-8 inches press and hold the RETRACT button until all the jacks start to retract on their own. Once all the jacks start to retract on their own let go of the retract button and let the coach finish retracting on its own. Once you have performed this procedure correctly it should clear the error code.

At that time manually

lift the front legs to about truck height and press auto level.

If the error continues you may need to take the unit in for service.

Thanks for the update! Hopefully I'll never have to refer back to this, but you never know.

Hopefully you won't need it. I printed the email and put it in the trailer so I will know where it is should I ever need it again.

I don't remember for sure. I think the manual advises to clear the LF RM (etc) errors that you have to check connections and the harness.

Seems like I remember there being something about "homing" though

Thanks for posting this. We just bought a 2016 Pinnacle and my wife is using it and had this exact problem. The instructions you posted worked perfectly.

I had this issue today. Finally got frustrated and manually leveled it so the DW would stop glaring at me. When we get ready to pack up and go I will give this a try. Thanks.

This is great! I'll be trying this first thing at daylight tomorrow. We had the same thing happen coming back from a trip to AZ. We got to our home base site here in California. Perfectly level and have never had issues auto leveling. Kept erroring/faulting. Tried extending front and rear jacks and then retract all; no luck. I was thinking that it probably had more to do with the middle jacks. So now it's good to know how to retract those manually (never even though about pressing right and left together at the same time.
Thanks for this post..HUGE help!
