LP Water Heater Flame Appearance

I'm looking for some opinions on this flame appearance.
On our first outing with the TT, and trying all the appliances, I discovered the water heater LP flame was fully yellow and sooting. Upon returning home, I cleaned the burner orifice and adjusted the air mix slightly, to get what I think is a good flame that does not "roar" too much. The attached pictures show the final flame. I'm wonder if the flame is the right size (not too large), and the proper coloring?
Your opinions please.

Looks good and you do want to hear a strong roar.

So this is something you need to check out with a brand new TT? Seems it would be set up right from the factory.

Yes, I was quite surprised. I believe it had never been run or set-up on LP.

This was my first attempt at fixing and setting up something like this. When I vebally described my efforts to my RVing uncle, he said I may have damaged the orifice and made the flame too big. He had not been here to check anything, he's just naturally negative. Since he made me nervous, I asked the experts, you folks here on the JOF. Many thanks!

David, the color looks pretty good. It is hard to tell from the pictures but the flame on mine may be larger. They do have a larger roar when first ignited but there is still some roar left in her when she is going. You should be fine.

Your flame looks good. It should have been checked by the dealer before it was delivered to a customer. They are paid to do a pdi.
