Maxxus 8008 16" tire and wheel option

Can anyone point out where there is more information on this option? I am assuming it includes the E tires but would like to know more.

It just sounds like I will get as little as they can get away with to call it an "upgrade". It has been a while since I have bought an RV but I never had to replace the tires on my RV the second I got it home after "upgrading".

I don't think the Maxxis come in a 15 inch E load range. I would make sure you know what you are getting on the upgrade.

So here is what I found so far.

ST Radial M8008 | Maxxis Tires USA

235/80/R16 with a 10 Ply Rating. They call it their ST tire. 80 psi with a wheel width of up to 7.5".

What say ye? That is an E load range. Looks like the best you are going to get from Jayco.

And for those who want to learn more about tire ratings, here is a link with trailer data at the end.

That is what many wish they had from the start. Maxxis is the only brand I would consider from what I have seen. There is a open market for a dependable St tire on RV's and I am sure there are some others out there but Maxxis is the one I am familiar with.

Yep. They do. They make a C, D, and E in a 15". See link for part numbers.

I will switch to Goodyears when these dry rot. (She will not see much action her first year). IMO, the best you can buy for your RV.

Many people have switched to Maxxis tires from Goodyears, because the Goodyear Marathon trailer tires have such a terrible reputation.

I have Goodyear Marathons on 3 different fifth wheels. I would NEVER buy one again.
