Newly designed Furnace intake/exhaust port

Howdy -

We have a new 2015 Flight 32BHDS and I am having a very difficult time locating an insect screen to fit over our Atwood furnace intake/exhaust port. It measures 4.75" x 6.25" and none of the Camco screens I've found are configured to fit this part.

Does anyone else have this same furnace intake/exhaust port?

Anyone know where to get a screen (besides fabricating one)?

Many thanks,
Dave

I'm in the same boat. Coudln't find any of them online that was for that newer design. Thinking about taking one of the older ones I have for a suburban or something that will fit over the whole thing. Just about the only option until Camco, which usually makes all of them, comes out with something. If you come across something please post.

rbrent -
Do you have the same furnace port that I show in my photos? What part number screen did you purchase? I also considered using an existing larger screen but the corrugated aluminum siding of my trailer will not allow a flush mount (as it would for smooth/flat fiberglass siding).

All -
I sent Camco an email asking if they will be creating a new insect screen design for this new furnace port setup or what existing product will be compatible. I will let you know what I hear from them.

Thanks,
Dave

Didn't think of that. I have a fiberglass side so it fits flat against the side, It might not work too good on yours. But have the same furnace port.

Which model screen did you go with? Can you paste the URL to the website in your reply?

Thanks,
Dave

Camco Response

Good morning -

I heard back from Camco this morning.

They are working on developing a new product to fit the new furnace configuration but do not yet have an estimate on when it will be available. The man did say they hope to have it by summer, but again no ETA as of today.

NOTE: If you have additional product questions you may email Camco at:
Info@Camco.net or call Customer Service at 1-800-334-2004

Many thanks,
Dave
