No cab heat from 2006 Seneca 35GS

We purchased this motor home last year with only 14K miles, and on our way home the heater began intermittently putting out warm and then cold air, no matter where the temp selector was set. I've been told the most likely problem is the heater blend door actuator.

Has anyone had this same problem or replaced the blend door actuator on the Chevy C5500? Any help would be appreciated!!

Check the vacuum pump and hose near the bottom passenger side of the radiator. If it is running all the time you have a vacumn leak someplace. That was the only issue we had. The hose had a small hole in it.

Thanks for the suggestion Grumpy, I checked the vacuum pump and it comes on for about 15-20 seconds and then shuts off. I pulled the hose off and it started right back up. I put my finger over the port, and there was vacuum, although it wasn't very strong. After I plugged the hose back onto the port it again shut off after about 20 seconds.

Any other ideas?

It's working correctly then. You may want to join this "super c" group. Several are well versed in the Kodiak Chassis. It's all done with "e" mails, but a lot of good info.
