Norcold Refrigerator just get down to 46 degrees
I got Model # N611L. I have leveled it and it has been running for 2 days. The Freezer get down to 6 degrees. I pulled the top vent off and nothing is blocking it I feel heat coming up. I just tried the AC have not tried gas.

I figture it should be the same as home refrigerator
Home suppose to be 40 and below. Freezer should be 0

Mine's never gotten to below 10 degrees. Home refrigerators with compressors and the evaporative refrigerators found in RV's are different animals.

Where is your temperature control set? Does it have 5 choices? On mine, higher numbers makes a colder refrigerator; mine is set at 3 and makes 40 degrees or so in the refrigerator.

The more food the cooler it gets. A fan helps circulate cool air. Even at 40 degrees we have had ice on some food.

Ours is -3 to -4 in the freezer, 36 to 38 in the fridge. That's on level 3 out of 5. We are running 2 fans with the kit from smart rv products. Now if it gets stupid hot, like it is now, we have to bump it up to at least 4. Fixing to ditch this fridge anyway due to leaking water out of the back during thaw cycle (2nd fridge to do this in less than a year), but, it does stay cold. Worse comes to worse, do like we're fixing to do, ditch the Norcold and put a small residential fridge in.

When checking Norcold temps, remember the cooling unit defrosts itself every 46-47 hours. I'm not saying the freezer defrosts, just the cooling unit itself. My freezer temp will increase from 6-8 degrees up to the mid teens and then drop back to 6-8 as the defrost period ends. This is part of the Norcold design and can not be changed so I was told by Norcold engineering.

How are you checking the temp? If you have to open the door to look at the thermometer, the thermometer and the air temp will both rise pretty quickly, especially if the fridge is empty. I got a wireless thermos from Acurite and really like it. Just a thought.

I've installed fans on the cooling fins in the fridge interior. This keeps the frost off of the fins. Every morning I turn the fridge off and on to circumvent the 48 hour defrost cycle. I've found that this keeps the fridge cooler in hot weather. My freezer sometimes gets down to -6 or -7. The fridge tends to stay around 30 to 35 except around supper time when it gets open and closed a bit. Then it usually goes up to around 40. I have a wireless temp monitor in the freezer and fridge.
My fridge is a 10cf model and has a built in fan on the upper cooling fins. This fan was never coming on even in very hot conditions. I configured it to come on at lower temps and put a switch in so I can turn it off if desired.
