One cell in battery was very low

I checked the water levels in the Greyhawk's house battery today. They were last checked in March or April at which time they needed only a little water to top them off.

Today, five cells were still completely full, but one was low. I began adding distilled water to it. To my surprise that cell needed 12-13 fl. oz. of water, so it was more than a touch low.

This is the original 12 volt house battery in the 2014 Greyhawk. The dealer replaced the converter in February because it had gone bad and would no longer charge the house battery.

Any thoughts on why a single cell would be so low when all the others had not lost a drop?

The cell somehow went bad and overheated, boiling out the water. That battery has a problem. If it were mine, I would replace that ASAP. Batteries do explode sometimes.
