Opinions\Information on new FlexArmour

Spray on Roof for 2017.

Any opinions, data, or insight into this approach?

Good, bad, indifferent?

Thanks in advance.

Member edatlanta had his roof done and has been happy with it. It's a long thread but page 6 starts to showing his camper getting done.

That looks really cool! No staples in the liner, no resealing joints, lighter color for heat disapation and a lifetime of no leaks. Wonder what a finished product costs.

Are you saying that Jayco is going to start offering the spray on roof option or are you thinking about getting one on your trailer?

My feelings about any rubber roof has been well documented in previous posts and the earlier thread mentioned above.

Now after 13 months with the RV Flex Armor roof I would absolutely do it again and as I have said previously, I would have it done to a brand new rig before I ever moved in. The only difference now would be I wouldn't wait for a rubber roof to leak before I pulled the trigger. I'm just very lucky my failed rubber membrane was caught before any damage other than minor occurred. I would consider this just part of the purchase price just like I did with the China Bomb tires.

I don't know about lifetime. I've had units over 10 years old with original rubber roofs that were still in great shape. Their site indicates this spray roof will last 10 to 15 years. So it still has me wondering how great this system really is. I happen to need a new roof on my 2016 but just don't know what I'll go with yet.
