outdoor tv connection options

Hi, Fellow RVers:

This is an open question regarding hooking up a TV outside. We have a fifth wheel eagle lite 2015 model with roof antenna and the option to disconnect the antenna in favor of a satellite dish or ground cable service where available. Next to our main entrance is a coax antenna output port, but the manual doesn't specify whether or not this outside port is compatible with antenna modules or other receivers. We have tried a couple of hook ups but so far no luck. Our cable input is on the other side of the rig and works fine. Does anyone else out there have this coax port and, if so, what can it be used for?

I believe that the curbside coax is for an outside TV.. not an antenna
