Radio and Slide

First, starting last week on trip the radio/DVD player would not power ON at the device or with the remote. Jensen, not sure model but TT is a 2013 Jayflight 28BHS.

Next, upon our return, the couch slide would not go in or out using the control panel. I can hear and see the vertical motor driveshaft spinning when wife pushes button at panel. However, the cogs do nothing. The slide was out in driveway while we were cleaning the camper, I was able to manually push the slide in from the outside.

Taking the TT to the dealer tomorrow, since we bought last April. Hoping all is warranty eligible and can be done quickly, trip to OBX in 2 weeks.

Question: is there anything obvious that I am missing? 100 miles one way to dealer. Thank you for any insight.

Have you heard anything back from the dealer?

Talking

Yes "nevercominhome", I picked up the camper this past Saturday. The dealer, Plemmons RV in Rural Hall, NC, did a great job for us; slide out motor and gear pack replaced, loose wire behind radio, and they replaced the awning fabric (it was ripped right at the edge where it rolls up to the TT, I used clear awning tape as a stop gap for a few months until there was a break in the action).

All work done under the warranty. A tip of the cap to Plemmons and Jayco for helping us meet our timeline.

Now off to the NC OBX Tuesday night, KOA Hatteras.

Happy camping

Always nice to hear a GOOD report about a dealer and Jayco warranty service.
