Rear Camera Problem

I have a factory installed Voyager wireless camera on my new North Point. I only get a picture 10% of the time at best. The instructions say to turn on the parking lights to power the camera (I assume the camera power is connected to the rear clearance lights) then pair the camera to the monitor. The first time I powered up the monitor, I immediately received a picture from the camera without turning on the parking lights or pairing the camera to the monitor. The picture seems a little more consistent standing still.

The length of the North Point is pretty long. I have read that a lot of people have issues with wireless systems due to the length and the numerous things that cause "interference" between the camera and monitor. After reading all of that o went with a wired system. I have heard that they make signal booster that you can wire up that will give you a good picture more of the time.
