Rock Damage
I have a smooth sided Eagle (fiberglass) just above my battery bank I have a hole made, I guess, by a flying rock... Right now I am thinking a fiberglass repair kit and then maybe using a spray can of truck box liner since getting a paint match will be a PIA and that stuff is pretty strong all on its own..
what do you think????

Seann, Something I would mention, though it may not apply, is to be sure the surface is fiberglass and not SMC (sheet moulded compound). Although they look almost identical, the repair products are different. Not trying to put a monkey wrench in your plans, just something to consider.

Might be a good time to think about placing a sticker in that location to hid the miss matched paint.
Not sure where your battery bank is located, but if it is under the bin pox area, what about a nice mod of diamond plating to protect the area from future damage??

Have you checked with a fiberglass repair shop? I had a small area repaired on a boat here at the local glass shop, charged $100. Your a couple hrs from him, he's in Elephant Butte

After I put a nickel-size hole in the fiberglass on the back wall of my trailer, I patched it with some 2-part epoxy putty from the paint dept. at Home Depot. I think it's made by JB Weld. It's available in a formulation especially for plastic & fiberglass, and dries to an off-white color. It's close enough to the color of the trailer that I never bothered to paint it. Been there for almost 2 years now, and most people don't even notice it.
