Roof vent covers

Tired of family leaving roof vent open and the floor getting wet from the rain. I currently own a 2014 31.5 BHTS and was wondering if any of you have installed this product to a newer Jayco?

I have 2 of the Maxx air hinged models on my 2013 33 RLDS. I carried them over from our last camper. Install is quick and easy and I leave my vents open 24/7 even in the winter for ventilation..They mount to the vent metal frame so should be the same on any camper..

I installed one of the original Maxx Air covers on the 23B and a Maxx Air II on the newer 5th. I think they're great and pretty much leave them open all the time. I installed both myself and it's an easy job. I watched both videos and that looks like a nice vent also. I will note that the Maxx doesn't require removing existing screws to mount.

Just ordered a smoke colored max air II for the camper. Looked like the easiest and less intrusive to install.

That was my take after watching the install video. Their flow comparison video is interesting tho but I just don't like the idea of disturbing the roof if I don't have to. Buy a Maxx and all you do is install. The fantastic needs a tube of sealant.

Installed the fantastic vent cover months ago. Works great with good circulation and draw. Took out the 4 (I think) roof screws and reinstalled with a dab of Pro Flex sealant in each hole.....no leaks in 6 months thru some pretty hellacious rainstorms.

The vent cover you've refered to, while it'll work over a standard roof vent, is designed to be used with a powered Fantastic fan roof vent.

If you are looking to place a vent cover over a regular vent, you may consider a MaxxAir II vent cover.

It'll do a decent job of keeping the rain out when your vent is open, but with more louvered surface area, it will promote greater air circulation.
