Any comments on the difference between a rubber roof and a fibreglass roof.

Most times you don't have a choice. Generally fifth wheels and TT's have some type of rubber roof and some motor homes have either fiberglass or a choice of fiberglass or rubber.
Then you deal with what you have. Personally, I prefer the rubber type roof material because I can repair it easily.

I prefer the rubber roof 'cause that's what I've got.
Norty is on the money, it's easy to repair with a roll of eternabond.

I just ordered a bunch of this to cover all the seams and joints on the roof so that I don't have to re-Dicor every year (or 6 months).

Is using that eternabond tape a good idea to do all the seams and joints. And will it be as effective I have wondered that. Has anyone ever done all there seams and joints. How did it workout.

Yup, my old trailer I had Eternabond on the joint between the roof and the side walls. Clean and prep it correctly and install it with a roller, it will never come off and never leak.
Doesn't take very long to install. I have my bride hold one end of the tape at the front, and I take the other end to the back. I peel back the backing and press the tape in. Work over to the bride and cut the excess. Go back over it with a hard roller to properly set the adhesive... you're done. 10 minutes per side, including moving the ladder!

Rustic Eagle had a very nice post about doing all his seams (and his brother-in-law's trailer seams) with Eternabond. I think he did his about 1-1/2 to 2 years ago. His post was about 9 months ago. You should be able to find it with a subject search. He's very happy with the results.

I saw it on a UTube video (can't remember the site right now) from a full-timer. Pretty cool, except he kept moving the camera and it made me sea sick...and I don't get sea sick

I remember seeing the utube video too...he was doing it along the coast. You could see the ocean while he was on top of his 5er. It was a good video, little shaky, but a good how to video.
